I went to Japan in April this year. I bought tenugui in Japan. Today, I used my new tenugui for the first time.

I love tenugui and I have many tenugui. And I use it every day. In the kitchen, when I wash the dishes, I wipe them with a tenugui. For me, tenugui is easier to use than British tea towels. There are many different designs for tenugui, so it is fun. I like both traditional patterns and modern designs.

Whenever I buy tenugui in Japan, I always feel like I want a lot of them. They are all cute and all lovely, but I can't buy that many, so I take time to choose. This year, my family of four chose one each. I chose the tenugui with the starry sky at night.

今年の4月に日本に行きました。日本でてぬぐいを買いました。今日、新しいてぬぐいをはじめて使いました。

私はてぬぐいが大好きで、たくさん持っています。そして、毎日てぬぐいを使っています。台所で、お皿を洗った時にてぬぐいで拭きます。私には、イギリスのティータオルよりてぬぐいの方が使いやすいです。てぬぐいは、いろいろなデザインがあって楽しいです。伝統的な柄もモダンなデザインもどちらも好きです。

日本でてぬぐいを買う時はいつも、たくさん欲しくなってしまいます。全部かわいくて、全部ステキですが、そんなにたくさんは買えないので、じっくり選びます。今年は家族4人で、一人一枚ずつ選びました。私が選んだのは夜の星空のてぬぐいです。
