最近、花屋でミモザを買いました。ミモザの花は小さくて、黄色くて、ふわふわです。とてもかわいいんですが、長持ちしません。今はドライフラワーになりました。


Recently, I bought some mimosa at the flower shop. Mimosa flowers are small, yellow, and fluffy. They're very cute, but they don't last long. They've now become dried flowers.


それから先週、スーパーで水仙を買いました。黄色い水仙です。安かったです。インフレでスーパーの食べ物は本当に高くなりましたが、水仙はいつでも1ポンドです。ありがとう水仙。

Then last week, I bought some daffodils at the supermarket. Yellow daffodils. They were cheap. Food at the supermarket has become really expensive with inflation, but daffodils are always one pound. Thank you, daffodils.



毎年、2月に黄色い花を買ったらもうすぐ春が来る!という気持ちになります。でも、今年はちょっと違います。ほとんど毎日雨が降っているからです。雨が多すぎて、雨の音が聞こえると「またか・・・」と思ってげんなりします。


Every year, when I buy yellow flowers in February, I feel spring is just around the corner! But it's a bit different this year. It's been raining almost every day. There's been too much rain, and when I hear the sound of it, I think, ‘Not again...’ and feel really fed up.


春はまだまだ遠いみたいなので黄色いティーポットでお茶を淹れて春を待ちます。
