今週は私の誕生日がありました。カードとプレゼントをもらいました。

プレゼントをもらいました。小さい箱でした。少し重かったです。プレゼントを開けました。箱にOLYMPUSと書いてありました。それは双眼鏡でした。うれしかったです。

got a present. It was a small box. It was a bit heavy. I opened the present. It said OLYMPUS written on the box. It was binoculars. I was happy.

私は鳥を見るのが好きで、最近、双眼鏡が欲しいと思っていました。でも、プレゼントでもらうと思っていなかったので、びっくりしました。コンパクトで軽いから、森や海岸を歩きに行く時にも便利そうです。

I like watching birds and recently I wanted to get binoculars. But I didn't expect to receive them as a present, so I was surprised. They are compact and lightweight, so they will be useful when I go walking in the woods or on the beach.

あと、今年の10月に相撲を見に行くので、その時にも使えます。本当にいいプレゼントを選んでくれました。

Also, I'm going to see sumo wrestling in October so I can use it then too. They chose a really good present for me.
