私の友達は小さい畑を持っています。水曜日に友達の畑に行きました。この畑は友達のうちの庭ではありません。英語でアロットメントといいます。みんなの畑です。

My friend has a small allotment. On Wednesday, I went to my friend's allotment. This allotment isn't in her garden. In English, it's called an allotment. It's a shared garden.

ロンドンは大きくて、にぎやかな町ですが、私の家のまわりはみどりが多いです。広い公園や、森があります。そして、アロットメントがあちこちにあります。私は畑を持っていませんが、畑を見るのは大好きです。ときどき友達のアロットメントに遊びに行けてうれしいです。

London is a large, bustling city, but there's a lot of greenery around my house. There are big parks and woods. And allotments are here and there. I don't have my own allotment, but I love looking at them. I'm lucky to be able to visit my friend's allotment sometimes.

友達のアロットメントでいろいろな野菜や果物を見ました。夏の野菜と言えばトマトですが、トマトの赤い色は元気が出ます。

At my friend's allotment, I saw many different vegetables and fruits. When it comes to summer vegetables, tomatoes are the first thing that comes to mind, and their red colour is so uplifting.

水風船みたいな大きいトマトがありました。小さくて、かわいいトマトもありました。サンタクロースのベルみたいでした。

There were big tomatoes, like water balloons. There were also small, cute ones. They looked like Santa Claus's bells.
