土曜日に、うちで家族とサッカーを見ました。日曜日はアーセナルの優勝パレードを見に行きました。
On Saturday, I watched football at home with my family. On Sunday, we went to see Arsenal’s trophy parade.
私の家族はサッカーが好きで、アーセナルを応援しています。今年、プレミアリーグで優勝しました。22年ぶりです。とてもうれしいです。日曜日、午後2時からロンドンでパレードがありました。私たちは11時ぐらいにうちを出ました。地下鉄の中にアーセナルのユニフォームを着ている人がたくさんいました。
My family love football and support Arsenal. This year, they won the Premier League. It’s been 22 years since their last title. We’re absolutely delighted.
On Sunday, the parade took place in London from 2 pm. We left home at around 11 am. There were loads of people wearing Arsenal shirts on the tube.
地下鉄を降りてキングス・クロスの駅を出たら、アーセナルのファンだらけでした。みんな、歌いながら歩いていました。大きい通りは人が多くて、歩けなくなりました。でも、裏道を通って、いい場所でパレードを見ることができました。どこを歩いても赤いシャツの人がいて、おもしろかったです。優勝パレードはにぎやかで、とても楽しかったです。子どもやお年寄りも多かったです。
When we got off the tube and left King’s Cross station, it was a sea of Arsenal fans. People were walking along, singing. The main streets were so crowded we couldn’t walk through them. However, we took back streets and managed to find a good spot to watch from. It was funny seeing people in red shirts wherever we went. The parade was lively and great fun. There were lots of children and elderly people there too.
