私は毎週、カフェで日本語のレッスンをしています。今、カフェに大きいクリスマスツリーがあります。一年は早いです。

Every week I have Japanese lessons at a café. Right now, there's a large Christmas tree in the cafe. The year went by so quickly.


クリスマスの準備を始めました。先週、クリスマスカードを買いました。カードを買うのが好きです。いろいろなデザインがあって、楽しいからです。


I've started organising for Christmas. Last week I bought Christmas cards. I enjoy buying cards because there are so many different designs, which is fun.


そして、クリスマスの前に友達に会います。友達にメッセージして、予定を決めました。あと、肉屋で肉を注文しました。


And I'll be meeting friends before Christmas. I messaged them and arranged plans. I also ordered meat from the butcher.


毎年、私のうちでは鶏肉の丸焼きがクリスマスのごちそうですが、今年は何か違うものが食べたくなりました。それで、鴨を注文しました。12月23日に肉屋に取りに行きます。


Every year we have a whole roast chicken as our Christmas feast, but this year I felt like something different. So I ordered a duck. I'll pick it up from the butcher on the 23rd of December.


鴨を丸ごとローストするのは2回目です。前に食べた時にとてもおいしかったので、楽しみです。


This will be the second time I've roasted a whole duck. It was delicious last time I had it, so I'm looking forward to it.
