Do you like football? Are you watching the World Cup? I watched Japan’s match yesterday.
ワールドカップが始まりました。きのう友達とパブで日本の試合を見ました。すごい試合でした！
The World Cup has started. Yesterday, I watched Japan’s match at a pub with some friends. It was an amazing match!
相手の国はオランダでした。オランダは背が高くて、強いです。試合の結果は引き分けでした。つかれたけど、おもしろかったです。
The opposing country was the Netherlands. The Dutch players are tall and strong. The result of the match was a draw. I was exhausted, but it was great fun.
パブに行く時、タクシーに乗りました。Uberの運転手さんはポーランドの人でした。がんばってと言ってくれました！
キックオフはイギリスの夜9時。日曜日の夜だからパブはガラガラでした。私達は10人ぐらいのグループでした。日本はオランダに2回もリードされましたが、89分でゴールして、同点になりました。
When we went to the pub, we took a taxi. The Uber driver was Polish. He told us 'Good luck!'
Kick-off was at 9 pm UK time. As it was a Sunday night, the pub was empty. We were a group of about ten people. Japan fell behind to the Netherlands twice, but scored in the 89th minute to equalise.
