今週、日本の友達とLINEをしました。私は春休みに日本に行きます。日本で友達に会いたいです。

This week, I chatted with my Japanese friends on LINE. I'm going to Japan for the spring holidays. I want to meet my friends there.

私の友達はだいたい東京に住んでいます。あと、和歌山に1人と、福岡に1人います。

去年、福岡に行きました。友達に会って、一緒に博多ラーメンを食べました。それからカフェで夜12時ぐらいまでしゃべりました。

Most of my friends live in Tokyo. There's also one in Wakayama and one in Fukuoka.

Last year, I went to Fukuoka. I met my friend and we ate Hakata ramen together. Then we chatted in a café until about midnight.

東京の友達は私が日本に行く時に時間を作ってくれます。いつも急に連絡するのに、やさしいです。

My Tokyo friends make time for me when I visit Japan. They're always so kind, even though I contact them last minute.

今年は和歌山に住んでいる友達が東京に来てくれます。彼女は大学の時の親友です。大学時代のもう1人の親友は東京にいて、3人で会えることになりました。10年ぶりぐらいだと思います。

This year, the friend who lives in Wakayama is coming to Tokyo. She's a best friend from university. Another best friend from university days lives in Tokyo, so I'll be able to meet all three of us together. I think this will be the first time in about ten years.

私たち3人は昔、家が近くて、よく下北沢や三茶の町にいました。懐かしい町を歩けたらいいなあと思っています。

Three of us used to live close by and were often out and about in Shimokitazawa and Sangenjaya towns. I’m hoping to walk around those nostalgic places.
