うちの近くにパン屋があります。パンは高いけどおいしいです。スタンプカードがあります。

There’s a bakery near my house. The bread is expensive but delicious. They do a loyalty stamp card.


スタンプカードはうれしいです。パンを10回買ったら、次のパンが無料になります。最近、スタンプカードはデジタルになりました。ちょっとめんどくさいです。でも、今は何でもアプリだから、しょうがないです。

It’s nice to have a loyalty stamp card. If you buy bread ten times, the next loaf is free. Recently, the stamp card has gone digital. It’s a bit of a pain. But nowadays, everything’s on apps, so I suppose that’s just the way it is.


水曜日にパン屋に行きました。パン屋は混んでいて、列ができていました。私の前の人はお金を払う時、スタンプカードアプリを開けて、タッチしようとしてました。でも、その日はスタンプアプリが使えないと言って、店の人が謝っていました。誰かにデバイスを盗まれたそうです。電子スタンプ泥棒ですが、そんな物を盗んでどうするのか、意味がわかりません。


I went to the bakery on Wednesday. It was busy, and there was a queue. The person in front of me opened the stamp card app when paying and prepared to tap their device. However, the shop assistant apologised, saying the stamp app wasn’t working that day. Apparently, someone had stolen a device. It’s a case of electronic stamp theft, but I really don’t understand what the point is in stealing something like that.
